It's my day to reveal over on the Get Inky Blog. Their latest challenge is St. Patty's Day/use green. My family is not Irish, but you can't help hear about green beer so that's where my inspiration came from. I used Get Inky's jar and handle to create a beer mug and then used a blending tool to ink it a light green. The shamrocks are cut from patterned paper. I attached the mug to the card using an action wobble. It made me think of people having to much, and sloshing their mug around...silly I know!
Will you be joining us for this challenge? Don't forget the top three are design team chosen so you're work is always seen!

Get Inky Button Halloween Card
I know what you're thinking... Halloween isn't for another 8 months! As I peruse the internet though, I look at various posts and always think to myself, "What good does a Halloween card example do me on Halloween!!" As I approached this Get Inky button challenge I wanted to give you something you could use to plan ahead.I used the Get Inky 2013 Halloween set to create my card. Going into the creation process the only thing I was certain of is I wanted to the ribbon to look like a messy horizontal spider web, and use the spider stamp like he had just finished spinning it.
The button, while it matches in color because black was to much of a contrast there, it the "prey" that got caught in the web. After all this thought I was exhausted...haha.
I hope you will come and join us for the button challenge. We also look forward to seeing what you create too!

Get Inky Valentine's Challenge
It's my first official 2014 post for Get Inky Challenges, and the inspiration is Valentine's/Love. If you read the Get Inky blog you'll know…I don't usually make Valentine's cards as I like the sappy poems on the store bought ones.
I had a purse shaped gift card holder that I'd never used and thought it was perfect for this. I used the stitched square and heart from Get Inky to make my embellishment.
I originally thought I was going to use several hearts in many colors so I wanted to share a tip with you. While at Walmart I went to the paint department and picked up a paint strip sample in the shades of pink I wanted. It would have been perfect for many heart as they all would have been graduated in the same family. I'm sure I'll use that idea somewhere else in the future.
Will you be joining the challenge this week? If so, I can't wait to see what you create.

Happy Valentine's Card
We had another round of winter precipitation, and a delayed opening at work. Normally I go in at 8:15…we didn't have to be there until one!!! I used this opportunity to take on a few challenges. I used the wonderful card sketch from Sketch ~ N ~ Scrap for the design layout of my card. I then used three different challenges for the embellishment of my card. Craftin Desert Divas is having a color challenge. It's red, white, and pink so I used those for my paper colors. Cards Galore and Southern Girls are both having a bling challenge so that was very easy to combine. I also stamped the heart inside my hearts with Get Inky Stamps. I hope you love how it came out because I do.

Hi, and welcome to the Get Inky! Farewell & Welcome Blog Hop. You should have arrived here from La-Vie's blog. If you happened to have stumbled into the hop mid-way be sure to start at the Get Inky! Challenge Blog for a chance to win a fun prize.

For my project I choose to use the cricut cartridge A Child's Year. I cut out a fairy and then replaced her wand with a flower. After she was glued down I used stickler and glitter for her wings.
The flowers, and butterflies, are stamped with Blue Moon Creation's build a flower that is part of the Love Bugs set. The pink and purple flowers were colored with a blender pen and my stamp pads. The green and yellow are wink of stella pens. They give a slight sheen/glitter, but not a whole lot…hence wink I guess.
Now for the fun part. Leave a comment on each blog along the way and you'll be entered to win:
* one of three one-year Inky Moonbeam memberships
* one Crafty Card Gallery app donated from Jennifer Restivo

Get Inky Challenge 20: Snow
It's time for the last 2013 Get Inky Stamps by Blue Moon Creations inspiration post. Their final challenge of the year is one of my favorite things…SNOW! I used the 2013 Holiday set, but used two different sayings to create my greeting. I used Snowmany Thanks and Seasons greetings to come up with Snow Greetings. I accomplished this by using wash tape to cover the part of the saying I didn't want…leaving just what I did. A few snow flakes and some glitter and the cute card was done.
I have very much enjoyed my time with Get Inky, and seeing what each of you have created. I wish you all a happy 2014! I hope you'll stay with me to see what I create in the new year.

Get Inky Challenge 18: Onward and Upward
I'm back again to post inspiration over at Get Inky Stamps by Blue Moon Creations. Their challenge right now is Onward and Upward. This challenge really got to me! I made a card probably two months ago and let it sit as I wasn't exactly happy with it. The more it sat the less I liked it, and couldn't bring myself to write the post…so I started over. Boy am I glad I did. I love this card!
I misted white paper with Heidi Swap tinsel to give a night sky twinkle effect, and then used the stars and Happy Birthday sentiment from Get Inky's sailboat set. To finish it off I printed and colored their digi rocket in fun kid colors and voila…a card I love! I probably love it so much as we just had a 3 year old Buzz Lightyear party hear and my house and I must hear "To Infinity and Beyond" 300 times a day!
What are you all creating for this months challenge?

Get Inky Challenge 17: Thanks
It's time for another Get Inky Stamps by Blue Moon Creations inspiration post. This time their challenge is thanks. There are so may ways you can go with this topic! I choose to use the 2013 Holiday set and rather than make a thank you card, make a tag that could go on...well...pretty much anything. My first thoughts were a bottle of wine or a glassine bag of cookies...yum!
To make the sky of the tag I crumbled the tag and then used my ink applicator to rub ink around the tag. I then ironed the tag (no steam!) to make it flat again.
I also used a new to me product called muddles puddles to do the snow. I like the textured effect it gave, but it wasn't sparkling enough like fresh snow does. Stickles to the rescue! I put clear Stickles on top of the muddle puddles and it was perfect.
The snow flakes are buttons that I cut off the thread holder part to be able to use on my cards and pages.
I hope this inspires you to think outside the box and enter the Thanks challenge.

Get Inky 3-D Holiday
It's my day to post inspiration over at Get Inky Stamps by Blue Moon Creations. Their challenge right now is 3-D holiday. I really have found being on a design team keep me motivated since the topics aren't always what I'd do or it makes me really think how to use their stamps/ideas to bring you a great idea. I love making holiday cards, and I can't tell you how pleased I am with how this one came out.
I used my elegant edges cricut cartridge and cut out the red background. I think it's just supposed to be decorative, but the border really reminded me of the old gigantic Christmas light bulbs! The green is then embossed with the Cuttlebug. The red is popped with 3-D foam dots and the green is adhered to that.I used the Get Inky 2013 Holiday set and embossed the gingerbread men and fussy cut them. They are then popped up as well.
Inside is a pop-up card with another gingerbread man popped off of there. Can we say popped one more time!?
I hope this gives you a holiday idea and that you join us for the challenge. Are you making your holiday cards this year or purchasing?

Get Inky Stamps Halloween Challenge Inspiration
Hi everyone. I'm back with another inspiration post for Get Inky Stamps by Blue Moon Creations. Their challenge right now is Halloween with buttons.
I will admit that this was a very big challenge for me since we don't "do" Halloween. I wasn't even sure where to begin.
I used the Halloween Boo digi stamp cutting the Boo out for the front, and leaving the Happy Halloween for the inside. I used my Copics and glitter to make the boo exciting. I also used a chicken wire stencil, and glimmer mist, hoping to create a spider web like texture in the background.
I hope this inspires you to join the challenge, and I look forward to seeing your creation.

Get Inky Fall Inspiration
If you are looking for the Kiwi Lane blog hop - it's the next post down.
I am so excited to be showing you my first guest designer creation for Get Inky Stamps by Blue Moon Creations. This was my first time using digital stamps, and I sprang for some Copics too! Their challenge right now is to use fall colors.
I am so excited to be showing you my first guest designer creation for Get Inky Stamps by Blue Moon Creations. This was my first time using digital stamps, and I sprang for some Copics too! Their challenge right now is to use fall colors.
I used the Funky Flower digi set, and my sentiment was from the Sailboat set. I loved with the flower set that you got four of the same shape flower, but that each one was a different pattern inside. It made them all interesting, but still co-hesive. I used three different colors of copics as well as some random brads and gems that I had in my stash.
Will you be linking up for their challenge? I'd love if you followed me to see all my new ideas! I have all my links in the upper right corner. Thanks again!

Summer Picture Frame
My mom has sung the song you are my sunshine to M since he was a little baby. When I saw this frame project by Echo Park using the Hello Summer line I was just sold on making it for her birthday. I followed their pattern, but since my picture opening wasn't in the same place as theirs it's a bit different.
I purchased the frame, and the paper pack, at Hobby Lobby on sale and using a coupon. The frame was actually a beach theme and I just covered it with the blue paper, to mimic the sky, like the example frame on Echo Park.
I also wanted to share tip with you, that my friend La-Vie shared with me, when doing a project like this. Since all of the items that extend over the edge of the frame are stickers I kept wondering how I would keep them from sticking to say wrapping paper. Once stuck down you sprinkle the extra bits with baby powder! Genius I tell you!
Are you making any gifts right now?
